30th Annual Corncob Festival
July 11 & 12, 2015
You are invited to be juried for a space at the Corncob Festival held in Rochester, New York. Corncob is held the same weekend as the Cornhill festival. Corncob is held on the grounds of the First Churh of God on Atkinson St., right next to the Cornhill Festival. Cornhill attracts 250,000 people over the weekend and we see a great many of those people at Corncob. Corncob offers exhibitor spaces and food booths. The festival is held rain or shine Saturday from 10-6 and Sunday 10-5 (the same as Cornhill).
Enclosed is your application for the 2015 festival. Some categories fill up fast so it is important that you get your applcation in early. Other categories may remain open after the deadline. If you have special needs, please make a note of them on your application. We will do our best to accomodate you. Acceptance is a commitment to the festival, and no refunds will be given.
Corncob is open to all categories of art and crafts. All items must be hand made by the exhibiting artist/craftsman. NO BUY/SELL. Only 1 medium per booth. There is no sharing of booths, and only items that were accepted by jury will be allowed. Send 3 photos typical of your work and 1 of your booth.
Booths are 10x12' deep, the fee is 195.00, corners are 75.00 extra. Checks should be made out to Alan Leising. One for 25.00 for the application fee and one for 195.00 for the booth fee plus 75.00 for corner option. There is a 25.00 fee for returned checks. I will email acceptances after 4/30, then in June I will mail information and booth spaces. To apply to Corncob, simply print this application and mail it along with photos and checks to the address below.
